BS F-Zero Grand Prix Ace League

You may be wondering how I'm able to get the links when NicoNicoDouga is apparently down?

Do not question, just accept.

Here's your trump, Ace. And this ain't no children's card game.

Cue the drums.

(The "read more" button vanished? Just click the post name, I guess....)

(...

And then it came back.)

Kay, now we're moving. BS F-Zero King League.

Regularly (un)scheduled video embeddings ahoy.

Ace League will be the last one - unless somewhere down the line I find F-ZEROグランプリ2 第2週. It's apparently been on NicoNicoDouga at one point, with some re-upload requests...

Only two videos this time, folks. Looks like these got cut up a lot more.

Since 2 videos is a bit of an odd number, I decided to throw in a couple of the Jazz Arrange MP3s, as per my peculiar realization.

BS F-Zero... one. I think, anyway....

Checking my e-mail linked to this blog (for a change) made me realize I had a certain comment. It inspired me to finally get these videos up.

These are the videos merely called "BS F-ZERO GRAND PRIX". They seem to be a different format from the ones I posted earlier that were called "BS F-ZERO GRAND PRIX 2".

Not that that makes things any less confusing for me.

Here you start out on the normal F-Zero courses. The music is also some nice F-Zero electronic arrangements.

These recordings seem to cut around a bit, sadly. Fuller recordings woudl be appreciated.

At the climax is a "Bonus" course - these bonus courses would then be compiled into the BS F-ZERO 2 Download ROM.

Once again, if anyone can get some more info on this for me, feel free to leave a message.

I'm finishing up BS Fuurai no Shiren as well, guys.

You'll probably all say I'm crazy now. And you're right.

Aw, well. This is the last set of videos for BS Fuurai no Shiren.

BTW guys, I might be putting up more radio uploads soon. I'm starting to run out of actual game content.

Final BS Marvelous video.

Time for Kiddo to not leave things half-finished for a change.

BS Marvelous Time Athletics, Week 4. This is probably the last BS Marvelous video.

Having a bit of a Fire Emblem fanboy in me, I very much giggled with glee when this was uploaded on NicoNicoDouga: Post hide isn't on here yet because I am that much of a fanboy. :D

BS Shin Onigashima: Week 1

(EDIT: THE VIDEO URLS HAVE BEEN FIXED ON THIS ONE. SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG.)

I'm putting up this set of videos instead of my scheduled (Schedule? Laughable, Kiddo, laughable! Just LOOK at this!) stuff. Don't ask why. I'm just crazy. >_>

This is BS Shin Onigashima. The remake of the likely-forgotten-by-many Famicom Disk System classic, visual-novel style game. There is also a "Nintendo Power" download ROM version for the Super Famicom's familiarly-named service (That is likely not related to the American-published Magazine)

So, off we goooooooooo-

Also, a bit of a heads-up; when I get to Week 4, it will be one giant video, instead of segments. It was the way it was uploaded on NicoNicoDouga.

Catch-up game: Posting BS Fuurai no Shiren Week 3.

(EDIT: URL fix.)

Right, no post with an excuse this time. Just cutting to the cheese. Or chase. However you wanna put it.

Basically a week of trying to advertise my not-being-updated-at-the-moment blog to some likely non-interested parties. Aw, well!

I'll post a BS Fuurai no Shiren video to tide myself over. Hopefully by the end of this week I'll have some more radio shows and whatnot up.

Belated relization of a goof: I missed a Marvelous Week.

(EDIT: URL fix.)

This post is just what it says in the topic.

Durrrr.

Ok, actually, this post will have those videos now, too! Kay, kay!

Apologies for any confusion this may have caused.

MASSIVE apologies, folks.

BS Fuurai no Shiren: Surara wo Sukue, Week 1

(EDIT: Urls fixin')

Huh? Did I say I was gonna put up something different last week? Well, uh... that's for tomorrow! I swear!...

Really though, something's come up that I think shall allow me to hype it with these videos.

You might know this game under the Nintendo DS version "Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer", which was the first version to have an English localization. However, it originally appeared on the Super Famicom - and has a Satellaview version.

This is Week 1. The gameplay should look familiar if you've played either the above mentioned game, or other "Mystery Dungeon" games. Particularly Dragon Quest Yangus, the Nightmare of Druaga, and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.

Terminating BS Marvelous: Camp Arnold.

(EDIT: URL fix)

With this set of vids we got the last week of BS Marvelous: Camp Arnold.

But don't worry.

THEY'LL BE BACK.

... Yeah, my terrible sense of humor leaks through as usual. But really, if you enjoy these, be sure to check for the Time Athletics videos.

BS Marvelous Camp Arnold Week 1: Also Kiddo apologizes for truancy and does crap.

(Edit: usual.)

As you may have noted before, I usually tried to put a video of a broadcast up every weekend.

As of today, I'm a day off. :(

Rather stupid of me, eh? Aw, well. Hopefully to make up for it, I'll have more material this week!

Let me get out a bit on BS Marvelous.

There were two BS Marvelous "games" on the Satellaview; Time Athletics Course and Camp Arnold Course. There's apparently also a standard Super Famicom version of Marvelous.

The game seems to has the engine and some gameplay bits taken obviously from Zelda: A Link to the Past. However, it's themes seem to resemble more down-to-earth, Boy Scouts-esque survival, environmental interactions and the like.

As I'm not quite sure which one came first yet, I'll start with Camp Arnold.

Live Broadcast Game - I've now run out of BS Zelda Material.

(EDIT: URLs fix.)

You hear that folks? After this I won't have any more BS Zelda videos to post. Sad, is it not?

I will probably move on to BS Marvelous. That has a similar engine to Zelda LTTP, anyhow.

Well, let's enjoy this ride, shall we?

And now we watch as our hero goes from not being lost in dungeons way too easily, to beating Ganon by the skin of his teeth.

Live Broadcast game - BS Zelda guy redeems himself.

(URL repair.)

I apologize about not having a single update for nearly a week in a row. This time, though, it's because I've been doing some serious researching, and have been learning a lot more. I will hopefully be a bit more active, um... today! Yeah, I shall probably post a couple new articles.

But let me start with this - BS Zelda, Map 1, Week 3. This is the week we have the ROM dump of, guys. :)

In this video, the boy who could not complete his objectives last week has to backtrack this week to get the Triforce piece he missed, and then go clear the objective of getting the other two Triforce pieces. Sounds daunting, does it not? Actually, from what I've seen, Satellaview games seem to be toned down in difficulty compared to other games...

But either way, here we go.

Only one more to go for BS Zelda! I will then cross-link both this and the Sekiban weeks for you guys.

On a JP website I've linked here, The Satellaview History Museum, they have schedulings for Satellaview content. I noted this one in particular - a program that plays just before BS Zelda;

"☆16:30～17:00 ＢＳゼルダの遊び方バグポタミア神殿"

Google messes up the translation, but it seems to be "How to play BS Zelda". Is it a radio tutorial of some sort? I'd like to learn more about this.

One more thing; I've been able to find alias for the uploaders of these videos. I am however uncertain of whether they all want their alias announced, due to NicoNicoDouga's anonymous nature. Therefore, I'd like them to contact me so I can request giving them proper credit.
